Regrettably, drivers cause life-changing accidents in our state every day. In fact, more than 410 people sustain injuries from automobile accidents across California daily. These accidents add up to more than 150,000 people harmed in some way by auto accidents each year.
Although many of these accidents result in minor injuries for those involved, tens of thousands of people are forced into area hospitals where they have to undergo extensive medical treatment for their injuries. In some cases, victims have to stay off work for several months as they go through therapy and endure the long and painful recovery process. Although it would be nice if everyone was able to overcome their injuries, thousands of people are left with permanent impairments each year as a result of their injuries.
