Cerritos, CA – Woman Injured in Accident on San Gabriel River Fwy (605 Freeway)
Cerritos, CA (August 5, 2020) – A crash reported early Monday morning left one woman seriously injured. Just after 7:30 a.m., on August 3, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on the Interstate 605 Freeway.
Reports provided by Highway Patrol officers show that a silver Honda sedan and a gray Kia Optima collided on the Interstate 605 Freeway near the area of Studebaker Road for unknown reasons. The crash resulted in extensive damages to the front end of the Kia. One woman involved in the crash was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
