Discovery Bay, CA – Accident on CA-4 Leaves Several Victims Injured
Discovery Bay, CA (August 10, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Discovery Bay area sent several victims to area hospitals with injuries. At 1 p.m., on August 9, the Contra Costa Fire Protection responded to the scene of a crash on California State Highway 4.
Reports provided by authorities show that a T-bone accident occurred on California State Highway 4 at the intersection with Discovery Bay Boulevard. The crash resulted in extensive damages to both vehicles involved. Four people were seriously injured in the accident. Two victims were airlifted from the site of the crash to an area hospital for treatment. Two others were transported via ambulance to area hospitals for treatment. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
