Wilmington, CA – One Injured in Truck Accident on E Lomita Boulevard
Wilmington, CA (August 6, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after being involved in a truck accident in the Wilmington area on Wednesday morning. Just after 1:25 a.m., on August 5, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash in the 1000 block of East Lomita Boulevard.
Reports provided by authorities show that a car was traveling through the 1000 block of East Lomita Boulevard when the vehicle was involved in a collision with a semi-truck. The crash resulted in extensive damages to the sedan, trapping the driver inside. Firefighters responded to the scene of the accident and extricated the trapped victim. The victim was rendered aid on-site and rushed to a local hospital for further treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
