Fatal Car Accidents in California

Being involved in a car crash can have a lasting impact on the lives of victims and their families. More than 270,000 accidents take place in our state each year. Although we want everyone to walk away from accidents without any issues, this is not the case. Automobile accidents throughout the state of California claim the lives of more than 3,200 people each year. The vast majority of these accidents are caused by human error. In fact, statistics show that reckless driving, negligence, speeding, driving while impaired, and other careless actions while operating vehicles contribute to around 80% of collisions each year. Losing a loved one under any circumstances can be challenging to accept. Knowing that your loved one lost their life in a preventable accident just makes the situation even more emotional. Not only are families forced to endure endless mental and emotional suffering, but they are often required to spend tens of thousands of dollars on medical treatment, property damages, funeral services, and more.
