Bakersfield, CA – Jacob Johnson & Luis Raya Killed in Crash on CA-65
Bakersfield, CA (November 27, 2020) – An automobile accident reported in the Bakersfield area claimed the lives of two men on Wednesday evening. At approximately 10 p.m., on November 25, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an auto accident on California State Highway 65.
Reports show that two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision on California State Highway 65 just north of James Road. The crash left both vehicles with significant damage.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene of the accident and discovered both drivers deceased. The two victims were later identified as 28-year-old Luis Fidel Mena Raya from Terra Bella and 27-year-old Jacob Logan Donald Johnson from Bakersfield.
Investigations to determine the cause of the crash are underway.
