Bakersfield, CA – Pedestrian Struck & Killed by Vehicle on Ming Ave
Bakersfield, CA (November 22, 2020) – An accident in the Bakersfield area claimed the life of one woman on Friday evening. At approximately 7:30 p.m., on November 20, the Bakersfield Police Department was called to the scene of a crash on Ming Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a pickup truck was traveling in the 4700 block of Ming Avenue when it struck a female pedestrian. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and requested emergency medical assistance.
The woman sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. No one inside the pickup truck was injured as a result of this collision.
