Tranquillity, CA – Car Crash on S Denver Ave Claims One Life
Tranquillity, CA (November 10, 2020) – A head-on collision on Sunday evening claimed one man’s life. On November 8, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on South Denver Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a head-on collision took place on South James Road at the intersection with South Denver Avenue at approximately 8 p.m. Details surrounding the accident indicate that a 1997 Honda Accord was traveling south on James Road when it crashed head-on with a 2018 Toyota Camry.
The impact of the crash caused the Camry to overturn, leaving the 20-year-old female driver and her 21-year-old male passenger injured. Both victims were rushed to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Honda sustained fatal injuries and was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are ongoing.
