Riverdale, CA – Man & Woman Killed in Crash on CA-41
Riverdale, CA (December 20, 2020) – Two people have lost their lives following a motor vehicle accident on Friday evening, according to reports. On December 18, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on California Highway 41.
Reports from authorities show that a crash involving two vehicles took place just after 5:10 p.m., in the vicinity of California State Highway 41 and Mount Whitney Avenue. The crash caused delays throughout the area as crews worked to investigate.
One person involved in the accident, 57-year-old Rasalva Chavez-Contreras, was fatally injured in the accident. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second victim, 52-year-old Salvador Llamas, was rushed to CRMC where he succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
