Fresno, CA – Injuries Reported in Truck Crash on Mount Whitney Ave
Fresno, CA (January 26, 2021) – An automobile accident on Saturday morning resulted in injuries for multiple people in the Fresno area. Just after 8 a.m., on January 23, the Fresno Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Mount Whitney Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that an ambulance was responding to a traffic incident during the morning hours. At the ambulance passed through the area of Mount Whitney Avenue and East Avenue, it collided with a semi-truck.
The impact of the crash caused the ambulance to overturn. Two people inside the semi-truck were injured in the accident. EMS transported injured parties, including medical personnel from inside the ambulance, to local hospitals for further assistance. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
