Fresno, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Auto Accident on E Inyo Ave
Fresno, CA (January 17, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Friday evening in the Fresno area left one person injured. At approximately 5:45 p.m., on January 15, officers with the Fresno Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on East Inyo Avenue.
Reports provided by local authorities show that a female pedestrian was walking on East Inyo Avenue near the intersection with South Maple Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle that was traveling north through the intersection.
The woman sustained major injuries in the accident. Paramedics treated the injured woman on-site before transporting her to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
