Fresno, CA – Teen Injured in Car Crash on Palm Ave
Fresno, CA (January 27, 2021) – An accident on Monday left a teen critically injured in the Fresno area. At around 8:15 p.m., on January 25, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Palm Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a crash between a black SUV and a white panel van occurred on Palm Avenue at the intersection with Pinedale Avenue. The incident resulted in severe damage to the two vehicles involved.
A 13-year-old passenger was trapped inside the van and had to be extricated by firefighters. The injured teen was rushed to an area hospital where he was admitted in critical condition. The driver of the SUV was then arrested on suspicion of DUI causing great bodily injury. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
