Stockton, CA – Man Killed in Auto Accident on N Pershing Ave
Stockton, CA (January 2, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident claimed one person’s life in the Stockton area on Thursday, according to local news sources. On December 31, the Stockton Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on North Pershing Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that 34-year-old Quinton Hopkins was traveling through the intersection of North Pershing Avenue and Middlefield Avenue, while impaired when his vehicle crashed into a second vehicle.
The crash caused both vehicles to come to rest in the middle of the roadway. A passenger in one of the vehicles, identified as a 65-year-old male, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Hopkins was transported to a nearby hospital for the treatment of injuries then arrested for driving under the influence. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
