Bakersfield, CA – Fatal Hit & Run Takes One Life at Chester Ave & west Columbus St
Bakersfield, CA (February 26, 2021) – Police in Bakersfield are currently investigating a fatal hit and run crash that happened on Thursday, February 25. One man lost his life due to the accident.
Sources state that the collision occurred at the intersection of Chester Avenue and West Columbus Street. Police believe that it may have involved two vehicles that were street racing at the time. Upon their arrival at the crash scene, they found one man suffering from life-threatening injuries.
He was transported to a nearby medical center where he was pronounced deceased due to the injuries he sustained in the crash. Police are currently searching for a white sedan with front end damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle in connection with the accident.
