Fresno, CA – Fatal Car Accident at Olive Ave and Dickenson Ave
Fresno, CA (February 18, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a fatal hit-and-run accident in Fresno County at the intersection of Dickenson Avenue and Olive Avenue at about 9:30 p.m.
Officials stated that a woman was traveling northbound when, for reasons that have yet to be determined, her vehicle flipped over. The impact ejected the driver from the vehicle. She fell into the roadway.
After the accident scene had been stabilized, the driver of a southbound vehicle struck the driver of the first vehicle and continued driving.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.
Officers are working to locate the hit-and-run driver as well as determined the cause of the initial accident.
