Fresno, CA – Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash at W. Clinton Ave and N. Fruit Ave
Fresno, CA (February 04, 2021) – A motorcycle erupted in flames after it collided with a minivan at a busy intersection in Fresno on Wednesday, February 3rd.
The accident took place at about 3:00 p.m., at the intersection of North Fruit Avenue and West Clinton Avenue.
Police reports show that the motorcyclist was heading westbound on West Clinton Avenue when it collided with a minivan that ran the red light at North Fruit Avenue.
The crash caused the motorcycle to catch on fire.
The biker, who was wearing a helmet when the crash occurred, sustained critical injuries during the impact and was transported via ambulance to a local hospital.
Two children who were in the minivan both suffered non-life-threatening head injuries and were also transported to an area hospital.
The driver of the van driver, who admitted to running the red light when his focus was on the children in the backseat, also sustained minor injuries.
