Bakersfield, CA – Bicyclist Loses Life in Fatal Crash on Coffee Road near Jet Way
Bakersfield, CA (March 14, 2021) – According to police in Bakersfield, a bicyclist lost their life after being struck by a car on Saturday, March 13. The crash was head-on and the cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Sources state that the wreck happened on Coffee Road near Jet Way at around 6:45 p.m. for reasons still under police investigation. Officials said that a man riding a bike was headed south along the shoulder in the northbound lanes of Coffee Road. The man allegedly veered into oncoming traffic in the outside lane and collided with a vehicle headed north.
