Manteca, CA – Man Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on South Main St Overpass on Hwy 120 Bypass
Manteca, CA (March 3, 2021) – One man has lost his life after he was struck by a truck tractor on Wednesday, March 3. At approximately 7:30 a.m, the Stockton California Highway Patrol along with EMTs were dispatched to the scene at the South Main Street overpass on the Highway 120 bypass.
A city solid waste vehicle hit a 56-year-old pedestrian on the roadway. Medical professionals pronounced the man dead at the scene, according to officials.
The driver of the truck tractor remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Intoxication did not appear to play a factor in the crash.
