Bakersfield, CA – Carrie Cuca Lopez Killed in Collision at Calloway Dr and Tumwater Ave
Bakersifeld, CA (April 08, 2021) – A woman was killed during a car crash near the intersection of Tumwater Avenue and Calloway Drive on Tuesday, April 6th.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene at about 11:55 p.m. after receiving reports of a collision between two vehicles.
The female driver of one of the vehicles sustained serious injuries. She was transported to a nearby medical facility where she was pronounced dead.
The Kern County coroner’s office has since identified the victim as Carrie Cuca Lopez, 43, a resident of Bakersfield.
The male driver of the other car was also transported to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
