Fresno, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Crash Takes One Life near Shields & West
Fresno, CA (April 5, 2021) – Police in Fresno received a call concerning a serious pedestrian crash that occurred in a parking lot near an intersection in Fresno on the morning of Sunday, April 4. Reports indicate that the wreck happened around 8:00 a.m.
The crash took place in the parking lot of the 99 Cent Only store near Shields and West when a woman became pinned underneath a vehicle for currently unknown reasons. Emergency responders worked to extricate the woman from the wreckage.
The victim was then transported to an area hospital where she later lost her life. Her name has not been released to the public at this time.
Authorities in Fresno continue to investigate the details of the incident.
