Valley Springs, CA – Motorcycle Collides with Minivan on Highway 26 near Double Springs Road, Two Seriously Hurt
Valley Springs, CA (April 18, 2021) – A motorcycle and a minivan were involved in a collision on a roadway in Valley Springs on April 17. At around 4:35 p.m., first responders including police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the crash in order to assist those involved.
The incident was reported to have taken place on Highway 26 near Double Springs Road when a minivan and a motorcycle were involved in a wreck for reasons still being investigated.
The motorcycle was occupied by a driver and a passenger at the time of the accident. Both required airlifting from the scene via helicopter with serious leg and arm injuries.
The stretch of Highway 26 where the crash occurred was closed for about an hour while responders worked to secure the scene. The identities of those involved have not been made public at this time.
Police continue to investigate.
