Valley Springs, CA – Motorcycle Crash Injures Two on Hwy 26 near Double Springs Rd
Valley Springs, CA (April 28, 2021) – Two people reportedly sustained injuries in a motorcycle crash on a highway in Valley Springs on the afternoon of April 28. The incident was reported at around 2:30 p.m.
Reports indicate that the wreck happened on State Route 26 near Double Springs Road. A man from Manteca, aged 61, was riding a 2017 Harley Davidson headed west on SR-26. A Modesto man, aged 30, was headed in the opposite direction in a white 2020 Ford transit van.
For reasons still being investigated, the two vehicles collided on the roadway. The left front side of the Ford struck the motorcycle. The motorcyclist and his 54-year-old female passenger, a Stockton resident, were both injured in the crash.
They were transported to separate medical centers from the scene in order to be treated for the injuries they sustained in the accident. Their injuries were deemed serious.
