Bakersfield, California (May 9, 2021) – Doug Allmon has been identified as the cyclist who was critically injured following a hit-and-run crash in Bakersfield on the morning of May 1. According to reports, the DUI crash occurred at around 9:15 a.m.
Sources state that the wreck occurred near the Stockdale Highway and California Avenue when Allmon and a female companion were struck by a car while riding their bikes near the intersection. The circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear at this time.
