Fresno, CA – Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Hwy 99 at Floral Ave
Fresno, CA (May 22, 2021) – On Tuesday evening, a crash involving a car and a motorcycle resulted in serious injuries on Highway 99 near Floral Avenue.
Per reports from troopers with the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred on southbound Highway 99 near Floral Avenue just before midnight. Police say that a silver Nissan sedan rear-ended a motorcycle, and the impact threw the motorcyclist, identified only as an adult male, off his bike.
Four passing vehicles, including a semi-truck, hit the motorcycle after the initial collision. First responders rushed the motorcyclist to Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno. He remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
