Fresno, CA – One Hurt in Crash with Semi-Truck on Walnut Ave near Demaree St
Fresno, CA (May 26, 2021) – Visalia police are investigating a crash involving a Frito-Lay truck and a Dodge Challenger. The incident occurred just after 5:00 a.m. this morning, May 26.
According to reports, the crash occurred on Walnut Avenue near Demaree Street. According to officials, the truck ran a red light, was knocked on its side, and boxes of chips spilled out of the back.
At least one person was injured in the collision, though the identity of the injured victim has not been released to the public at this time. The police in Fresno continue to investigate.
The injured party was transported to Kaweah Health Medical Center with injuries deemed moderate in nature. Delays in traffic were observed in the area for some time after the wreck took place.
