Ripon, CA – One Injured in Hit & Run on SR 99 near Jack Tone Rd Onramp
Ripon, CA (May 24, 2021) – One person was injured following an accident that occurred on the evening of Saturday, May 22. The wreck was reported to have been a hit-and-run, according to information from officials.
The crash was reported to responders just after 10:20 p.m. It happened on State Route 99 near the Jack Tone Road onramp for reasons still being investigated by police.
According to reports, the accident occurred between at least two vehicles that collided in the southbound lanes of the road. A vehicle then caught fire and was extinguished by fire crews who responded to the scene.
