Bakersfield, CA – Micah Jason Howard Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on California Ave
Bakersfield, CA (June 5, 2021) – On the evening of Monday, May 31, a man named Micah Jason Howard, age 40, was fatally hit by several vehicles on Highway 99 near California Avenue. First responders were called to assist at the scene shortly after the incident took place.
Authorities arrived to find that one person had lost their life in the collision. According to information from reports, a pedestrian, identified as Howard, sprinted across the roadway from the east shoulder and directly into the path of a Jeep traveling at approximately 70 miles per hour.
