Modesto, CA – Erika Navarro Killed in Wreck on Scenic Dr & Oakdale Rd
Modesto, CA (June 29, 2021) – On Thursday, June 24 a woman lost her life in an auto accident in Modesto. According to information from officials, the wreck happened at approximately 2:00 a.m. between two vehicles.
According to reports, a man headed north on Oakdale Road lost control of his car for reasons still being investigated by police. The sedan then collided with a truck that was headed south on Oakdale.
The truck’s driver was minorly injured in the collision. The passenger present in the sedan at the time, identified as Erika Navarro, 33, of Turlock, lost her life at the scene.
The driver of the sedan was transported to an area medical center with injuries deemed moderate in nature. Their name has not been released.
