Fresno, CA – Fatal Two-Car Crash on S Temperance & East Jensen Ave Takes 1 Life
Fresno, CA (July 31, 2021) – A 26-year-old man was killed in a two-car accident that occurred in Fresno on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 28. The incident was reported to officials in the area at around 4:08 p.m.
The wreck occurred at the intersection of South Temperance and East Jensen Avenue when a westbound Kia Forte drove through a red light without stopping and t-boned a Toyota Highlander. The Highlander was attempting to turn left onto eastbound Jensen at the time of the collision.
The driver of the Kia Forte, a 26-year-old male, sustained major injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. A 63-year-old female, the driver of the Toyota Highlander, was also transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Kia’s driver was pronounced dead a short time after arriving at the hospital. No one involved has been identified to the public at this time.
Authorities in Fresno continue to investigate.
