Kerman, CA – Fatal Crash Takes 2 Lives, Injures 2 Others on Howard Ave near California Ave
Kerman, CA (July 30, 2021) – A fatal crash took the lives of two individuals on a roadway in Kerman on the evening of Monday, July 26. The wreck was reported to authorities in the area just after 8:00 p.m.
According to reports, a 19-year-old man and his 19-year-old female passenger were traveling west on California Avenue at a high rate of speed in a Chevrolet pickup. They were just east of Howard Avenue.
The driver was identified as Joseph Rodriguez of Kerman, who failed to control his vehicle and allowed it to veer into California Avenue’s eastbound lanes, directly into the path of the Chevrolet pickup.
The two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash, according to information from officials. Rodriguez along with his female passenger, identified as Alissa Campos, lost their lives at the scene.
The driver and passenger in the second vehicle were transported to Community Regional Medical Center in order to receive treatment for injuries they sustained in the crash. We hope for their full recovery.
