Fresno, CA – Children Hospitalized Following Crash Involving Street Racers on Fresno St
Fresno, CA (August 19, 2021) – Two vehicles that were street racing down a Fresno roadway collided with a third vehicle on Thursday, August 19th, causing it to overturn.
The crash took place at about 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Normal Avenue and Fresno Street when, according to officers, the two racing vehicles were heading southbound from Clinton and Fresno.
One of the racing vehicles crashed into a third vehicle as it pulled out into the street.
Reports show that the driver of the non-striking vehicle fled the scene.
Officers stated that children inside one of the vehicles sustained injuries and were transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
