Fresno, CA – Four Injured in Car Crash on Fresno St near Normal St
Fresno, CA (August 21, 2021) – Four people were injured, including a baby and a five-year-old, in a crash caused by excessive speeding in Fresno, according to police. The accident happened on Fresno Street in the vicinity of Normal Street on Thursday, August 19.
Authorities state that the child was transported to Valley Children’s Hospital in critical but stable condition. The infant was reported to be in stable condition.
Zhane Hunter, 22, was traveling south on Fresno treet in her Kia sedan at speeds of 80 to 100 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone when the crash occurred. Reports from various sources show that Hunter hit a vehicle that had pulled away from a stop sign at the intersection of Normal and Fresno Streets.
The male driver of that vehicle had an infant present in the back seat of the car at the time. No further information has been released as police in Fresno continue to investigate.
