Madera, CA – Two Killed in Fiery Rollover Crash on Hwy 99 near Avenue 12
Madera, CA (August 10, 2021) – On the morning of Saturday, August 7, two people lost their lives in a fatal traffic accident in Madera. The incident was reported to officials in the area at around 12:40 a.m.
Sources indicate that the crash happened on Highway 99 near Avenue 12. The contributing factors of the wreck have not been reported at this time.
A vehicle swerved out of the northbound lanes of the highway and rolled over several times, came to rest in a field nearby, and caught on fire. A man and a woman present inside the vehicle lost their lives in the collision.
The cause of the wreck remains unknown at this time. Police have not yet revealed the identities of the deceased but will do so upon the notification of the victims’ next of kin.
