Modesto, CA – Four Children, Two Adults Injured in Wreck on Albers Rd near SR-132
Modesto, CA (August 31, 2021) – Authorities in Modesto were called to the scene of a major injury accident on the morning of Sunday, August 29. The incident took place just before 9:00 a.m. and involved a white Toyota SUV and a gray Dodge pickup truck hauling a personal watercraft, according to reports.
The wreck happened on Albers Road in the vicinity of State Route 132, sources said. Information from officials states that two adults and four children suffered injuries in the collision. The nature of the injuries sustained has not been immediately disclosed, however. Various sources state that at least one minor was transported from the scene by ambulance to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera for treatment.
The Dodge pickup truck was hauling a trailer at the time of the wreck. It came to a stop in the road and the personal watercraft being hauled behind it was propelled along the east side of the roadway. The impact forced the Toyota off of the road and into a ditch on the east shoulder of Albers Road.
