Fresno, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car at Cedar Ave and Butler Ave
Fresno, CA (September 26, 2021) – A man was killed when, according to police, he was hit by a car that fled the scene on Friday, September 26th in southeast Fresno.
An official with the Fresno Police Department said the accident took place at about 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of Butler Avenue and Cedar Avenue.
Upon their arrival, authorities located the victim in the middle of the roadway with multiple injuries. At this point, police believe the man was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a car.
He was transported by paramedics to a local hospital where he passed away the following night due to the severity of his injuries. It is unclear if he has been identified.
