Fresno, CA – Yingyathaji Lee Killed in Collision With Tractor-Trailer on Hwy 99
Fresno, CA (October 10, 2021) – A fatal tractor-trailer accident took place in the northbound lanes of Highway 99 near Herndon Avenue on Sunday, October 3rd at about 2:30 a.m. in Fresno.
The deceased has since been identified as Yingyathaji Lee.
Investigators determined that an earlier collision left a few disabled vehicles in the roadway. This blockage caused a box truck to swerve around the cars and strike a parked car on the shoulder of the highway, killing the driver.
The two other passengers in the truck sustained moderate injuries. They were transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital.
