Bakersfield, CA – Woman Killed in Bicycle Accident at Eucalyptus Dr and Fairfax Rd
Bakersfield, CA (November 18, 2021) – On Tuesday, November 16th, a woman was killed during a bicycle accident on Eucalyptus Drive in Bakersfield.
The accident took place at about 5:45 p.m. in the 6600th block of Eucalyptus Drive, in the area of Fairfax Road. Reports showed that a woman was crossing the street on a bicycle when she was struck by a Honda Civic.
The rider sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene until officers arrived. Drugs and alcohol have been ruled out as possible factors.
