Madera, CA – Two Killed When Tractor-Trailer Rolls Over on Car at Ave 7 and Rd 31
Madera, CA (November 04, 2021) – Two people died when a tractor-trailer rolled over onto their vehicle on Wednesday, November 3rd in Madera.
At about 4:15 p.m., officers responded to the scene at Road 31 and Avenue 7 for reports of a tractor-trailer involved in an accident.
An investigation determined that a tractor-trailer hauling two trailers full of pomegranates was traveling eastbound when it drifted off the shoulder of the roadway where it overturned onto a passing SUV occupied by two people.
The driver and passenger in the SUV both died in the crash. The truck operator sustained non-critical injuries.
