Modesto, CA – One Killed, Another Injured After Collision on Bentley Rd near Kemper Rd
Modesto, CA (November 30, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a fatal collision took place on a roadway in Modesto on Sunday, November 28. The wreck happened just before 4:00 p.m. Sunday. A female driver sustained serious injuries while her male passenger lost his life.
Reports indicate that the accident occurred on Bentley Road near Kemper Road. A Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a Toyota sedan collided at the intersection located northwest of Milnes and Albers roads.
Information from preliminary reports shows that the pickup truck was headed north on Bentley while the Toyota was headed south. The truck was carrying one adult male and at least two young children at the time.
The Toyota turned left to go onto Kemper Road when it entered the path of the pickup truck, police said. The truck struck the sedan’s passenger side, taking the life of the male passenger.
The female driver of the Toyota was badly hurt in the crash. She was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center for treatment. The male driver and young passengers of the Silverado suffered minor injuries, according to reports. They were not transported to the hospital from the scene.
