Fresno, CA – DUI Crash Injures Officer
FRESNO, Calif (December 22, 2021) – A suspected DUI driver crashed into a police car in Fresno while workers were filling a pothole, police said.
Police report that around 8:47 p.m., a police officer blocked a lane on Shaw Avenue so city workers could repair a pothole. An officer was injured when a vehicle rear-ended his vehicle while he was inside.
According to police, Valentine Uribe was driving the vehicle. Authorities believe Uribe was under the influence of alcohol. Police say Uribe has a previous DUI charge from May, as well as a suspended license.
