Pedestrian Car Accident Lawyer
Around 900 pedestrians die every year in traffic-related incidents in California. It is no surprise that California’s pedestrian accident fatality rate is nearly 25% higher than the national average because of the dramatic increase in the number of people walking, jogging, and getting out on foot. Although there are many actions taken to protect pedestrians traveling through our state, the number of deaths each year continues to rise.
It is more likely that victims of pedestrian accidents in California will suffer fractures, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries, all of which require extensive medical care. There have been many instances where other drivers have caused car accidents. Texting or using a phone while driving, drunk driving, speeding, ignoring traffic signs, and engaging in unsafe driving behaviors are some of the causes of these accidents. If people have been injured due to the negligence of motorists, they should seek the advice of a California pedestrian accident lawyer as soon as possible.
