Fresno, CA – Vehicle Crash at Olive & Chestnut Causes Injuries, Delays
Fresno, CA (December 13, 2021) – A vehicle accident occurred at an intersection in Fresno on the evening of December 10. At approximately 5:45 p.m., numerous responders were sent to assist at the scene including EMTs and police officers.
When officials arrived, they learned that a vehicle traveling west on Olive Avenue struck a parked car that was occupied by two men. Police determined that the driver of the vehicle was possibly intoxicated at the time of the crash.
Officers conducted a sobriety check and placed the driver under arrest for driving under the influence. The two men in the parked car were treated for injuries after the incident occurred.
Their identities have not been released at this time. Authorities in Fresno continue to investigate the details of the incident.
Traffic was delayed in the vicinity of the crash scene for an extended period of time on the evening of December 10 while responders worked to clear the area. Local drivers were forced to utilize alternative travel routes for the time being.
