Hanford, CA – Susana Russel Killed After Being Struck by Pickup Truck on Douty St near Eighth St
Hanford, CA (December 5, 2021) – A woman was killed after she was hit by a pickup truck on Tuesday, November 30 in Hanford. She was reportedly walking in a crosswalk at the time of the crash, officials said.
Police responded to the call concerning the crash that occurred in the area of Douty and Eighth Streets. When they arrived on-site, they found Susana Russel, 59, suffering from serious head injuries.
Russel was transported to an area medical center shortly after the crash, however, she passed away later the same day. The driver who struck her remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
