Wrongful Death Lawyer In California
In the United States, approximately 6,000 pedestrians die in traffic-related incidents each year. California accounts for 15 percent of these fatalities. Though our lawmakers have consistently tried to protect pedestrians, they are still victims on a daily basis. Distracted, impaired, and reckless drivers frequently hit pedestrians. Even though we try to keep other motorists safe on the road, we cannot predict whether other motorists will see us.
Accidents involving vehicles can result in serious injuries. Pedestrians are not protected from the force of vehicles, so their chances of being injured are greater in accidents. It is hard to lose a loved one, but it is even more difficult when the loss is caused by an accident that could have been prevented. In cases in which pedestrians die in preventable accidents, California wrongful death attorneys can provide legal guidance.
