Lake Elsinore, CA (January 09, 2022) – A woman was hit and killed on the 15 Freeway in Lake Elsinore on Sunday, January 9th.
The accident took place at about 5:40 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway, in the area of Nichols Road.
According to investigators, the woman was walking alongside the freeway when she was struck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her name is being withheld pending family notification.
