Tulare, CA (January 26, 2022) – According to California Highway Patrol officials, a man and woman from Bakersfield died in a motorcycle crash in Tulare County early Thursday morning.

Fresno CHP officers responded to a report of a solo motorcycle crash on Highway 43 just south of Palmer Avenue around 2:35 a.m. Authorities report a 34-year-old man was driving a motorcycle northbound on Highway 43 with a 21-year-old woman in the rear seat.

The man was driving at an “undetermined high speed” near Allensworth when the accident occurred, according to officials. According to CHP officers, the motorcycle driver failed to turn properly on a curve, causing the motorcycle to leave the road and crash into a PG&E power pole.

The man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities. At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash

Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in California

Motorcycle crashes cause the deaths of over 500 people each year. A further 14,000 motorcyclists will have to figure out a way to deal with the tremendous amount of pain and suffering brought on by their injuries.

During an accident, riders are completely vulnerable, which considerably raises their odds of enduring fractured and broken bones, serious brain injuries, and crippling damage to the spine that will require ongoing and pricey medical treatments. To make things even worse, injured motorcyclists are often unable to return to work for months or even years as they try to recover.

If you are hurt or a relative dies in a motorcycle crash, you will soon be approached by insurance adjusters who give the appearance of being on your side but, in reality, are going to undercut your settlement. Agreeing to accept the first settlement an insurance carrier offers is never in your best interest.

Usually, insurance carriers offer the smallest amount of compensation to crash victims as a way to get them to terminate their legal rights and stop them from seeking additional damages.
