Victorville, CA – Woman Hospitalized After Car Accident on Mariposa St
Victorville, CA (January 13, 2022) – A woman is recovering in an area hospital following a car accident on Mariposa Street on Thursday, January 13th.
The crash took place at about 5:40 p.m. on Mariposa St near Eucalyptus Street in Victorville when a 2021 Black Hyundai Elantra and a 2004 GMC Yukon collided.
Officials said that both vehicles sustained heavy damage.
The Victorville Fire Department responded to the scene and located two victims, one in serious condition and the other moderate.
A medical helicopter was requested but failed to land due to rain and poor visibility.
The circumstances leading up to the accident remain unclear.
