Corona, CA – Teen Cyclist Hit, Killed on S. Lincoln Ave Near Citron St
Corona, CA (January 28, 2022) – On Thursday, January 27th, a 13-year-old boy riding his bicycle was struck by a vehicle and killed on South Lincoln Avenue.
At about 4:30 p.m., police responded to the scene at the intersection of South Lincoln Avenue and Citron Street.
At the scene, responders found a critically injured teenager lying in the roadway. An investigation determined that a car struck the boy while he was riding a bicycle.
The victim was transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital but he passed away due to the extent of his injuries.
The driver of the car remained at the scene.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in this accident.
