Pedestrian Fatalities in California
Each year, roughly 6,000 pedestrians lose their lives in traffic-related incidents throughout the United States. About 15% of fatal pedestrian accidents happen right here in California. In spite of the fact that state legislators strive to protect pedestrians while sharing roads with drivers, they continue to be victimized daily.
In many cases, pedestrians are struck by vehicles operated by impaired, inattentive, and impulsive drivers. You can make every effort to be vigilant about the safety of those with whom you share the roadway, however, there is no promise that others are going to show you the same consideration.
Any car accident has the ability to cause catastrophic injuries for those involved. Pedestrian accidents put victims at a higher risk of suffering injuries given the fact that they are unprotected against the force of vehicles.
