Folsom, CA – Police report 3 deaths in a head-on crash in Folsom
FOLSOM, CA (February 16, 2022) – A head-on collision with three fatalities has blocked a road near Folsom Lake, police said.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash around 3:45 p.m. near Folsom Lake Crossing, according to Folsom police. Firefighters worked to remove someone from the vehicle, and at least one person was transported to a hospital and subsequently died.
It is not known which vehicle crossed into a double yellow line before the crash.
After the crash, Folsom Lake Crossing was closed for several hours.
