Fontana, CA (January 30, 2022) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car on Friday, January 28th in Fontana.
The accident took place on Foothill Boulevard in the area of Almeria Avenue.
The adult male pedestrian was waiting to cross Foothill Boulevard from the northbound curb when the side-mirror of a westbound Isuzu utility truck struck the pedestrian, sending the victim crashing into the rear metal utility area of the truck causing fatal injuries.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene and has cooperated with the investigation.
